The 2025 District Service Project/Camping Trip is scheduled for Friday, September 5th to September 6th at Georgia Veterans Park in Cordele, GA.

The weekend will include Friday night campsite fellowship, Saturday service project, and Saturday evening Pot Luck Dinner. 

Come for the day or make it a weekend!

Reconnect with nature on the serene banks of Lake Blackshear for a weekend family getaway or camping trip with friends. Georgia Veterans State Park offers an array of campsites with all the necessary facilities. Camp in tents, in a trailer or in an RV surrounded by pristine natural beauty.
Georgia Veterans State Park has 82 campsites designed to accommodate tents, trailers or RVs. The park is also home to two primitive Pioneer Campsites that are typically used by non-profit groups such as scouts, schools and church groups.
Camping in Georgia Veterans State Park is a great way to enjoy the many amenities and activities within the park including boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, golf, birding, bicycling and much more!
Space is limited so make your campground reservations now!
